SNIP is a low cost spay/neuter program created by the Sullivan County Humane Society, in partnership with local veterinary clinics, to help address the issue of pet overpopulation in our area. Snip offers a low cost solution to help those who want to spay or neuter their pet, but may not be able to afford the cost.
We need your help to accomplish our mission! We cannot make an impact to better the lives of animals in our community without our members and volunteers, so consider getting involved!
All programs and services provided by the Sullivan County Humane Society are funded solely by private donations - we receive no money from local, state, or federal taxes. That is why we need your help more than ever to help us in our mission to advance the humane treatment of animals in our community.
Thank you for visiting the Sullivan County Humane Society! We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization dedicated to advancing the humane treatment of animals, primarily companion pets, through adoption promotion, spay/neuter services and animal welfare education. Our volunteers are constantly working to make an impact to better the lives of animals in our community.
Have some trash that contains metal? Recycle it! The Cadettes of Girl Scout Trop 223 are hosting a recycling drive Saturday, April 18th at the Kingsport Town Centre. Proceeds from the recycled metal will go towards the Sullivan County Humane Society SNIP program. The Girl Scouts will also be working with the Kingsport Animal Shelter to make toys for the animals currently staying at the shelter as they look for their forever homes. The organization of these service projects will go towards the Cadettes completion of their Silver Award.
This drive would not be possible without the support of our friends at OmniSource metal recycling! Click below for more information on what can be recycled.
Shop at AmazonSmile and Amazon will make a donation of 0.5% of your purchase to Sullivan County Humane Society.
