SNIP is a low cost spay/neuter program created by the Sullivan County Humane Society, in partnership with local veterinary clinics, to help address the issue of pet overpopulation in our area.  Snip offers a low cost solution to help those who want to spay or neuter their pet, but may not be able to afford the cost.

We need your help to accomplish our mission!  We cannot make an impact to better the lives of animals in our community without our members and volunteers, so consider getting involved!

All programs and services provided by the Sullivan County Humane Society are funded solely by private donations - we receive no money from local, state, or federal taxes. That is why we need your help more than ever to help us in our mission to advance the humane treatment of animals in our community.

February is National Spay/Neuter Awareness Month!

It is a sad fact that there are thousands of homelss pets in Sullivan County, and millions across the country.  According to the Humane Society of the United States, nearly 3 MILLION healthy and adoptable animals are euthanized each year - that's one every 12 seconds!  Spay/Neuter is essential to curb pet overpopulation - IT SAVES LIVES!  The Sullivan County Humane Society recognizes this solution and is trying to solve the problem through SNIP, our low cost spay/neuter program, available to those who live or work in Sullivan County.  Join us as we promote awareness for this essential remedy to pet overpopulation in our area.
