SNIP is a low cost spay/neuter program created by the Sullivan County Humane Society, in partnership with local veterinary clinics, to help address the issue of pet overpopulation in our area. Snip offers a low cost solution to help those who want to spay or neuter their pet, but may not be able to afford the cost.
We need your help to accomplish our mission! We cannot make an impact to better the lives of animals in our community without our members and volunteers, so consider getting involved!
All programs and services provided by the Sullivan County Humane Society are funded solely by private donations - we receive no money from local, state, or federal taxes. That is why we need your help more than ever to help us in our mission to advance the humane treatment of animals in our community.
Thank you for visiting the Sullivan County Humane Society! We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization dedicated to advancing the humane treatment of animals, primarily companion pets, through adoption promotion, spay/neuter services and animal welfare education. Our volunteers are constantly working to make an impact to better the lives of animals in our community.
The 2015 Crazy 8s Road Race is going crazy for local charities! For the first time in the history of the event, Crazy 8s will give back to selected "Race to Raise" charities. Sullivan County Humane Society has been selected as one of those charities!
How it works: We need you to sign up for a Crazy 8s event (Crazy 8s 8K Run, 3K Moon Walk, or Little 8s Youth Run) on our behalf! The donation is based on the number of registrants, with the first place charity receiving $2500!!!
